That's where SDBHR comes in. We are here to help you through the process of finding just the right companion for you. No two basset hounds are alike, each one completely live in their own world. Our bassets have spent time in our fosters' homes where we've taken the time to learn all about each one of their unique traits so you are matched with a hound that will bring you years of happy companionship.

All applications must be at least 18 years of age to adopt from SDBHR. Please be aware that SDBHR serves San Diego County as well as areas close to our county.  If you are located in other areas of California we can assist you in finding one of our basset rescue friends in your area.
