Meet our bonded sibling couple.... Roscoe and Pepper!
This very loved couple came to SDBHR from a "backyard breeder".  They were living a very sheltered life.  With the love and support of SDBHR foster friends, they have received the love and care they so deserved! Pepper is a small 37 lb female.  Roscoe is a trim 48lb male. These 7.5 year old bassets will make a wonderful addition to a family who wants a well trained pair of adult dogs that are easy going, laid back, and just want to be with you. They get along with children and other dogs... information on cats or other pets are unknown.    They love attention and get on well with grooming and have good vet behaviors.  They do love their daily walks and are adjusted leash walkers.  Roscoe and Pepper do not tolerate being crated, they do just fine without it, thank you very much. They have no food or toy aggression and are doogie door trained.  All car rides are a plus!!  Again these dogs are a very bonded pair and only adopted together.  To apply to adopt, please fill out the forms on the adoption page.
